found a place to live

laurence and i arrived in toronto very late on sunday night, and spent all monday and tuesday looking for an apartment. tuesday night we were quite successfull and saw to great places right after each other. if only one of them had been crap then we wouldn't have spent hours tuesday thinking about what place to chose. the first place was a basement apartment in a very nice area and it seemed easy enough to rent it. the second one was an apartment in a high rise building (a bit more expensive) on 22nd floor, but the whole thing seemed very complicated. so in the end we went for the basement apartment and i am convinced we made a good decision. and there is plenty of space for guest (hint, hint). so we have been out today starting the shopping spree of kitchen things. we are going to ikea tomorrow to find a bed (hopefully).
but we are having a great time and we really like the city. and there are some great areas here, some great veggie restaurants and the prices are about half of home.
