Windsor and Detroit

this weekend we got on the bus to windsor to see louise. for those of you who don't know, windsor is in the south of ontario and just across the river from detroit. so ofcourse we had to go to the detroit. i would not recommend going to detroit. downtown detroit is full of empty buildings and there is literally nothing there. everything has moved out of the city centre. it was rather sad. so after having realised this we got in the car and headed to ann arbor instead. at least there was people around and not so many empty buildings. america is a very strange country. the weekend also included a saturday night in a hot tub with too many beers, and sunday afternoon skinny dipping in lake eire. a very good weekend.
