annoyed with toronto.....again

so the g8 is coming up soon in germany. does that mean that we should not bother protesting here in toronto? apparently so. went to ask X in kensing to see what they had planned, or if they knew what other people had planned. they had no clue. what the fuck is that about. i guess i have to have my own little protest. i am so sick of the lack of activism and protesting that is going on in this city. on women's day, the protest was in the weekend, instead of the day it was actually on, cos people have to work, and that is the only thing that matters. they need to see that there is more to life than work, and more going on in the world. stupid torontians.

I love the police state of DK

I was at christiania yesterday before the 'rioting' propperly started. Being in pusherstreet with a friend of mine (needless to say hungover as fuck) when the cops come running in. People run away down pusherstreet and all take a right down by the statue of liberty. Me having bad experience with following the crowd when running from the cops (+ I heard that the cops were comming from that side as well) keep on running straight down pusherstreet as pretty much the only person. At the end of pusherstreet, cops came from the left to try to cut me off and I hear them yelling, that guy is masked. They were referring to my scarf which I had on. The danish law states that even if I don't use it to mask myself, they can arrest me. I don't even have to have it on, they could arrest me if it's just on me. Again, I don't even have to be in a demo, as long as they suspect I'm going to one. It all makes sence and it sortof seems like they were just out to arrest someone when they tried to get me cause of such a poor reason. Again, hurray for denmark
