music update

Big news about everybodys favourite hardcore punk'n roll band, born to die in the gutter!
A song has been put up on our page (I'm not a part of this since I was in oslo when it was recorded). The song sounds pretty good and is about our love for cops...or, not really.
We'll be going back to the studio for two days at the end of august + we're having our first gig ever on saturday at some punk festival in roskilde. I'll only play the last few songs, as I don't know the new ones yet, however, I'm sure we'll manage to get drunk and play like shit...haha

bc and big trees

i am in bc now, learning about trees. so you can already guess what this blog post will be about. we started off in vacouver and went to see a research forest just outside vancouver. they had some huge trees, i guess some of the biggest i have ever seen. vancouver also has an amazing park, stanley park, with some really big trees. it is so different from ontario, and there are a bunch of new trees that i haven't seen before,such as douglas fir, subalpine fir, western red cedar, bigleaf maple, vine maple, douglas maple and western serviceberry. tomorrow we are off to alberta. and i almost forgot to mention that we have seen lots of trees that are dead because of the mountain pine beetle.
